After southern storms the river will flood. The lawns are under water and trees
stay in the water. Many houses are on pillars. It is not expensive to live here, but
there is lack of drinking water. Also many rich people have their summer houses
here. A boat bus goes regularly on the river. The nature is unic. The river is very
deep even near the shore, and it is a wonder the soil does not slip into the river.
In old days many of the vegetables the city needed were grown here.
